of

C

3 Chinese came out a wash-room about 25 30 yds. from

me. They were attempting to go through the wire fence.

I saw one man crawling under the wire. The other 2

threw stones at me. I shouted to the man crawling

through the wire. I threw stones at the man telling

him to go away.

There was nobody else there to hear

me.

I told him to go away from the wire. Just below

my post was a gate with a policeman near it and I

think he would see this. The man paid no attention

to my shouts and he already crawled under the wire

for the length of his body. Since he paid no attention

I fired a shot and quite a number of people gathered

then. As he received the shot he fell down into the

wire. When I fired he was crouching on the ground.

The 2 other Chinese who were with him dragged the

injured man inside.
